Leaders Against Litter

Keep Baton Rouge Beautiful hosted the Leaaders Against Litter event sponsored by Keep Louisiana Beautiful on March 10, 2017 in the Gardere/Burbank area. We have a total of 24 volunteers that joined us from businesses around the city.  Seven Sheriffs Deputies joined in the cleanup from the Community Corps, a East Baton Rouge Parish School Board Member joined in the cleanup and a Metro Council Member joined in the cleanup along with community residents.  We collected a total of 78 bags of trash and a varity of larger items.  The City of Baton Rouge collected the trash and debris after the cleanup.

We thank our volunteers and the City for helping to make our event a success.

A little part of Gardere is a little cleaner because of this community effort.
